Hi All, my Husband has a job here now and will receive a contract shortly so will be paying tax etc. Does he have to wait a length of time before he can get reduced medicine costs? Someone said a year, another said as soon as he is contributing he gets it.

Hi He is entitled to health care as soon as he gets his contract, so are you and any children you may have you just have to get a paper from the med center and go to the social security office with marriage certificate nie etc and get it stamped, don't bother with getting it notarised make sure you take someone who is native and they will make sure you get it all if you have a problem contact me, I can point you in the right direction
