UK NHS Hearing Aid spares (the type made by resound)
Posted: Fri Aug 05, 2022 2:13 pmAfter much looking over a period of weeks I have now found an audiologist locally (San Miquel de las salinas) who is able to provide some spares for one of the main hearing aid types supplied by the NHS in the UK.
My hearing aids are made by "gn Resound" and are/were commonly supplied by the NHS.
They recently supplied and fitted new clear flexible plastic tubes and the "horns" (the screw in plastic connector joint between the hearing aid and the clear flexible plastic tube). These parts were worn, and long overdue a replacement and now my hearing aids are much clearer.
They did this whilst I waited, took less than 15 minutes.
They also tried to connect their testing equipment to my hearing aids to see if they could adjust them to compensate for some hearing loss but unfortunatly, the NHS use their own bespoke software so it wasnt possible to connect.
The audiologist is :-

They are located half way up the main high street of san miguel de las salinas on the right hand side.

I would definately recommend.
