Power Cuts

Does anyone in the Quesada area suffer from short duration power cuts?
This has been going on intermittently for 3 years now. The break is usually of around 30 seconds duration. But that's enough to upset some electronic equipment around the house such as clocks, computers and TV boxes.

The cuts can be random but invariably occur during the morning. Sometimes a pattern emerges for a few days. I put this down to incompetent supply engineers doing switching operation on the distribution system but then the timing changes or the problem disappears for a while.

Any thoughts?

I'm not getting 30 second power cuts, but recently was regularly finding my wifi router had dropped power and had to be unplugged and plugged back in. I put it down to road and street lighting work.
Telecable replaced the modem, but I've also bought a small 12v DC UPS (uninterruptible power supply) designed specifically for modems/routers - it gives an hour of backup, but more importantly, has voltage smoothing built in to reduce the effects of local spikes and dips which I think was triggering the problem in the old router.
So far, so good.
