Just as an afterthought...after bleeding the radiators you sometimes need to re-pressurise the
boiler or it won't heat up your rads/hot water properly or at all. Another easy job so shout up
if you need help. ;)

Hello Jordy
I take it you mean to increase the pressure as shown on dial on the boiler.
There is a blue knob on the underside of the boiler. On turning this anti clockwise, thus adding more water into the system and increasing the pressure to between 1.5 to 2.00. Is this what you mean?
If you could let me know.
Thank you for your help once again
Regards

Jordy, as mentioned it has been one hell of a time with the installer, hence our lawyers had to intervene. At the end they refused to lay all the gas pipe to the mains connection as per the contract we had with them. In the end we paid €400 to have the rest of the gas pipe layer by the gas supplier.
Hopefully, if anyone is reading this and looking for a recommendation for an installer, I am now quite happy to supply their name by PM so they do not have the same stressful time we have had.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, that's the one. Just open it slowly until you hear water starting to run then watch
your pressure dial. Once it reaches 1 to 1.5 close the valve again & that's you done for the season. :)
I see you have already done this so when your system is up & running and the dial shows 2 or higher
just go to the furthest radiater & bleed a bit of pressure out to bring it just a bit lower. If the boiler
thinks the pressure is too high it will just switch off. Easy peasy.
