We usually get our electricity bill every 2 months. I have received one today for just the month of December.
Any ideas why I have suddenly got one for just 1 month?

I know I can contact them and ask but usually I get the answer to questions far quicker from someone on here.

thank you

Ours moved from bi monthly to monthly and it coincided with us having a smart meter fitted.
No notice!
just came along when we were out and fitted it!

I went into the Iberdrola office in Guardamar last week to enquire whether there are different electricity rates as my bills seem to have shot up over the past year. The lady told me I was on the cheapest rate and that the bills are now to be paid monthly but no reason why the change. She agreed the cost of electricity has become dearer.

If you have a smart meter, they do different tariffs, i.e. Night tariff, 8 hour tariff, weekend tariff. If you have certain times of the day when you use the most electricity you may find you can reduce your bills as the rates are cheaper during those times. Take a look on their website.

Personally I cant wait to go onto the 8 hour tariff but I have asked Iberdrola and, although we have a smart meter fitted, the infrastructure isnt yet in place in our area so we havent been switched over.
