Potenca house empty for next few months

We're currently in UK and unlikely to return to Spain anytime soon to our holiday home. We sometimes spend a couple of months there at a time under normal circumstances. I am considering reducing potenca to minimum as it's costing up to 30€ per month with it turned off.
I understand there is a cost to changing this and I read it can only be changed once a year. Unsure which way to go. Thoughts please!
