Help with using Hidraqua on-line access to view bills

Hi,
Can anyone help me? - I have had on-line access with Aquagest but, since they have been taken over, each time I go into Hidraqua they don't recognise my personal sign-in details. I know it's been quite a long time since Aquagest changed over to Hidraqua but I keep trying and then forgetting about it and putting it off.

I have tried asking for a 'lost password', thinking that may help, but for that they are asking for a 'User name' and then saying to click to 'send a new password' but that is strange, as all other on-line acesses always ask for email address for new password (I've tried both but neither work).

My main question is - I am going to try registering again for on-line access but the form asks for Nie number(that's ok) Contract number (that's ok) but it also asks for 'Bill Number', surely they are all different - Does anyone know where or what the Bill number is?

I have only found one paper bill from Hidraqua as I think I went paperless last year but good job I have that!

Thanks for any advice.

Jan

Jan were back in the UK at the moment, looking at our HiDRAQA latest bill hard copy ,on a section Datos De Facturacion there is a 8 digit number then a letter followed by another 9 digit number.
There is another heading Factura Trimestral Hidraaqua s.a. n.I.f (A then 8 digits)

When you go on-line do any of the prompt boxes fit these numbers?.

Let's know how you get on.

I've found the '8 digit number then a letter followed by another 9 digit number' but on old Aquagest bills, that actual number is different each time.

I have just found a number at the bottom of the Total on the bill that is 8 digits and it's the same number on both Aquagest bills and Hidraqua bill - I think I may try that one, failing all else.

I think the 'Factura Trimestral Hidraaqua s.a. n.I.f' is the NIF number for Hidraqua itself, as it's different to my NIE number and I'm not sure we, as UK residents, have an NIF number anyway.

Thanks for your help - much appreciated. I will try later to sign up and let you know how it goes when they get back to me.

PS The boxes are 'one size fits all', so no separate spacings, just a long area to put the numbers, which makes it even more difficult to tell if the number may be correct. :(

Hi, Liz & Gordon ,
Just checked again and I think it might be that number with 16 numbers and a centre digit as it says 'invoice number' on the 'sign in' at the top (although it says Bill number on the 'fill-in' part) and Factura is 'invoice' in Spanish. So even though it's different on all bills, I will try that one.

Thanks again - Very helpful

No luck with logging in or even signing up again to Hidraqua on-line!
:angry-steamingears:

Does anyone have any other ideas? We may not be in Spain again for quite a while from now, due to various commitments, otherwise I would go into the Hidraqua office and sort it out.

I haven't been into the on-line billing since Aquagest changed to Hidraqua, even though I have tried on various occasions and given up. It hasn't been such a problem before but this will probably be the longest time we will not be able to get over to Quesada and the only way I can see the amount charged is on my bank statement.

I may have asked this question before but does anyone remember if they were able to use their 'old' Aquagest Log-in details to access Hidraqua after the changeover?

I am able to put in my NIE number and the contract number but the 'Bill Number' or 'Invoice number' as it says at the top is not so easy. The Factura (Invoice in Spanish) number changes on each bill, so not sure if that's what they mean???

On the original sign-in, my Aquagest details don't work but the strange thing is that to get a new password they ask for the User name and not email address as most new password sign-ins ask for. A User name could be anything but an email address is unique to a person...strange! As I said before I've tried both with no luck.

Any ideas welcome!

:text-lol:

Thanks. I don't know why Spanish on-line sign-ins have to be so complicated - It's not really the language barrier as once registered it's just user name and password but I have had this problem with Spanish companies before.

Our bank recently stopped the debit cards from working in machines, without notice, and when we went into the branch to ask why, they said they needed new copies of our passport. We gave them copies and when we got home to UK we had been blocked from the on-line account. We contacted the bank and they said the user access part of the sign-in was our old passport number and we had to use our new passport number now to access the account (our 'new' passport is 8 years old!!!). We had been using the old passport number as a code all that time with three consecutive banks over the years.

All personal sign in details we have in the UK always stay the same unless we change them ourselves - How strange that in Spain companies can suddenly change them without letting us know.

Thanks for helping.
