We are a fairly new here but ours has been appalling, we bought a link extender thinking it may have been the property. Which has helped when it's working. We pop in to the Rojales store there is a young lady who is super helpful, although I understand your frustration!

We have had some major issues with the weather last few days - 3 or 4 internet providers had their masts blown down and may be struggling a little. More reported and pictures on our http://www.facebook.com/televisontechnology

Movistar I assume would be landline based - so should be ok. However Telefonica / Movistar (same) do have some quite slow landlines broadband in some areas....If you do have Movistar landline internet and this is constant - they may be a little overloaded locally, their infrastructure is terrible in places. If no improvement shortly, forget the landline (or any landline provider as all go through Telefonicas cables) and go for a wireless local service Telitec / Telfy or another. Both have offices in Rojales - we install for Telitec, so can advise if you have coverage (you would need to provide address to check - not on open forum) - [email protected]
