Thanks Paul I did that and it says software is up to date and android version 6.0.1

Guess that means you can't update it further.

If you can go into the mobile network settings and switch to fixed 3g, not auto, save then reboot phone - on & off. See if that helps.

On some phones with weak reception, they have problems switching with the auto. 3g has stronger signal reception than 4g, so if you fix to this it will theoretically default with needing to search, for the strongest option.

If that doesn't work, then may simply be a case of you are in a weak signal / interference type location and you will need some sort of amplified booster, as shown the earlier post link.

Could it be the phones antenna itself isn't that great? How are other peoples phones in the property ?

Vodafone told me that the Server for this area (Elche ) is and has been having major problems so to cure the problem they told me to switch the phone and my router to 3G from auto it seems to have cured the problem as I am nor getting 25mbps download speed and good signal on phone
Why not call 22189 and ask for english option 3 and they will help
