Has any one bought a Net Box from Harry who has a studio for demonstrations in Quesada? and if you have what has your experience been like?
Thank you for your help.

Hi,

You may also wish to review our services? We advertise on this forum, a legal established company of 10+ years and locally based. If the Netbox, is an android box running Kodi and free apps/streams, then will simply not be stable - many people offer this as cheap, but not even close to a service you would get from Sky or satellite - complex & unreliable. This is the case for all Kodi free type streams - they are not monitored or guaranteed - and anyone supplying them making promises of certain channels and content is not being truthful - as you cannot guarantee content which you are not supplying or hosted. No control over. Here today - gone....

We offer amongst the most comprehensive of IPTV services, including multiple service options. If local, we have technicians so can offer demonstrations in people's homes - no obligation. Full terrestrial & premium content, catch up and over 12,000 films and series on demand. https://tvtech.sharepoint.com/Pages/britishiptv.aspx (example UK & Euro service).

One example on below link, our most popular service 'UK & Euro'.

Totally agree with Paul. I’m a retired IT manager and the whole Kodi thing just isn’t worth the effort.
If you can then go for a dish, but if you can’t then go for Paul’s IPTV service.

Pete.

Kodi is ..........worth the effort, if cost is an issue and you have a little bit of "Nowse"
Most content is available from Films, UK tv, Sport, etc
But try and stay clear of cheapo chinese boxes......

I think its 'nous' :D But - just in my experience of dealing with TV hardware and the related issues for 11 years now - the answer for most is just making sure it works and keep it simple. Kodi and free streams, which you have no control over, can be variable, to say the least & in use its at the opposite end of the spectrum in comparison to what many people are familiar with Sky / Freesat type box.

Bit of 'home hobbyist' - yes. We barely get any requests now for Kodi boxes (we pulled the plug a while ago), as I think many people started with this - of course. Cheapest. 6 months or sooner, the calls come in 'so how much to do the job properly'.

Free to air as Pete states, can't go wrong with a dish - free and best quality. Soon as you start hunting down premium content, catch up etc - gets a lot more complex & convoluted with different hardware, services - incredibly variable. Lot of BS marketing hype often.

If you can not get a dish the go of a decent IPTV system TVTech can offer you a good one and provide the service when it goes wrong
I used to use Kodi but got sick of it going off right in the middle of a program so I changed to IPTV using a Raspberry Pi3 and now can watch whatever we wants for 65 pounds per year

I’ve got more than enough nous, but for me - and more importantly my wife - TV inerds to be a 100% reliable utility that is simple to use and is always available. Arriving in Spain to discover that the Kodi box isn’t working because the streams you were using have died since you were last here just isn’t an option.
In addition, the user interface and overall usability isn’t a patch on a Sky or Freesat box, so isn’t an option for HWMBO.

Well I have had a firestick with kodi on it and the Prestige stream that I was able to use has now ceased and comes up error. So have had enough and now going forward and having a dish hoping I shall receive reliable tv service.

I have a box from Harry with kodi etc installed. Paid 200 € I think and while he loads it with loads of channels half don’t work and while I have 50 mb download speed it’s very slow to load. I also have a fire stick with kodi etc loaded and it’s worse. Also Harry charges 20 € if you need him to update it. Ho also offers no guarantee. Also worth noting the big boys like Amazon and others are going to court with the people who run kodi so kodi streams will get fewer if not disappear. My advice is discuss your needs with Paul on here he seems to know what he’s about and will sort you out. I’ve not dealt with him but will go to him in the future
