Talk Quesada forum

Hi,

Sounds weird I know but I need ASAP access to a relatively strong internet connection outside a restaurant, shopping centre, house etc.
I know about Macdonalds, but does anybody know where I can park my car and get a decent reception in the Benijofar/Rojales/Quesada area.

Reason. I have a android infotainement centre in my car and need to download maps for the GPS/SatNav and my data plan on my mobile can't do it.

Need it for my drive back to Norway on Thursday.

On the left hand side and down a bit is one marked "Places to go for free Wi-Fi. You would obviously have to buy a cup of coffee or something to get the password off them.
Habaneras in Torrevieja has free Wi-Fi spots as well.

just go to carrefourand sit on the bench beside the creche the wifi is free there and good speed how big is the data pack you need to download

It's big, 3 gigs. (i only have 300megs on my mobil)
Maps of Spain, France, Luxembourg and Germany.

Trouble I can't sit on a bench have to be in car. The unit is there and works in same way as an android mobile phone downloading from play google.

Spanglish bar have good wifi i can connect when in consum car park

Come and park outside my house if you want. 100mbps connection and a wo-Fi network that gives a strong signal anywhere.
The only drawback is that I live near Villamartin, so about a 30minute drive from Quesada.

Also, you may find that you have difficulty connecting your car to some public Wi-Fi hotspotsbecause of the way that they have a ‘landing page’ that your car’s satnav may not be able to cope with.

Yes thats the one

Try Studz Bar in Benimar. The password is on the tables and I am sure they won't mind so long as you buy a drink. If you are lucky you can park right outside. I get a connection from over 20 mars away
