No audio on Eurosport 1

Yesterday we were watching Eurosport 1 on IPTV and I had cause to reboot the MAG box because the signal was lost. On reboot the audio was missing but only for Eurosport 1, all the other channels were fine.
I put a report in to my IPTV provider who tells me that all is well at their end.
Any ideas please as it is spoiling our enjoyment of the Australian Open Tennis.

I have tried a reboot on both the router and the MAG box 250, to no avail.

Hi guessing it was us as got a call earlier and checked - as we have only had one call over Eurosport today. Was fine earlier and when checked again and is still ok - have run for the last 15 mins, since seen this post - running in the background and all ok. Australian tennis with audio.

I'm going to suggest a box fault. As it can only a localised issue, meaning box or ISP. What I cannot make much sense of is why this is only on the Eurosport 1 - as if audio problems with this, would be on live test on different boxes - and is not, Eurosport 1 as it should be working correctly. Perhaps some type of intermittent box fault?

I'm not sure if we sent a technician around with a new box - as technicians were in Quesada and Torre today & a few pieces of equipment were set up and delivered.

The MAG 250 is getting a little long in the tooth now the manufacturer is not updating the firmware & we would NOT recommend the purchase of this hardware now, there are newer models available and options from different manufacturers.

Hi Paul, Yes it was us thank you. Right at the end of watching the tennis session, the sound returned.
We too think it is a MAG box issue. We only use it very occasionally, perhaps 2 or 3 times per week for a coupe of hours when there is something specific to watch, and every time the box will not turn on and needs rebooting.

That may suggest it is a box problem. Any of these types of devices need rebooting often or do not boot up correctly - or slow/hang/need a reboot - can often indicate that the processor is on it's way out. Usually, these type of issues become more frequent until the offending item goes kaput.

If you need a backup - the IPTV services supplied will also work on a tablet, smartphone and other devices - you can use these as a secondary option, for either when the main box is off (can use anywhere) or if MAG decides to stop working. You can download applications from this link https://tvtech.sharepoint.com/Pages/IPT ... dapps.aspx though we need to set up your account and give you some extra information to access - if you would like this, please drop us an email with your MAC number (underneath the MAG 00:1A etc) & we can set up for you.
