We use DVLAB and have no issues. Had to pay one off fee of €149 for the installation fee but now just switch on/off as we please for €19 per month. English chap installed it for us, very friendly. Just call them to switch on.

We had DVBlab install Wifi internet this morning. Install took about 45 mins. Small dish on the roof (approx 30cm) and a wireless router in the apartment. Cost was 149 Euros and 19 Euros a month but he did highlight the fact that it can be turned on and off as needed. Have been testing it out today with some streaming, youtube and browsing it works great. Just did a speed test which came back at 10Mb download and 2.5 upload. That will probably come down a bit on the evenings but all in all well pleased with it.

Great to hear it’s all good for you Scott, I’m not tech
savvy, would that be enough the 10mb to keep 3 teenagers going, &
I wouldn’t have to listen to them moaning? Thanks

Yep 10mb should keep them all happy. We survive in the middle of nowhere in Scotland on 1mb with two teenagers, so they are going to be in heaven with 10mb. Watched some TV live last night on https://easyview.eu with no issues.

0mb to keep 3 teenagers going,

mmm - not sure.

If they are trying to play online video games while someone watching TV you may struggle. If watching youtube videos, bit of web browsing then fine. If streaming HD TV, can be 4-5Mbps per stream.

If they are sensible with usage - which may have to be the case, otherwise if all 3 kids online and you, then we factor in heavy loading, so your 10 is Mbps is now 6 at peak - with 3 or 4 users. Will have to manage accordingly.

If they have videogames consoles and continually downloading patches or software, then this could cause the whole lot to stall, so a case of managing resources & teenagers use!

DVLab have responed well to my request for on/off internet and looks like the best option - unless anyone can advise of fibre broadband on Lo Crispin with on/off facility? :?:
