You could use 4G - the problem is the data usage though for TV - as is capped. With an SD content being approx 700meg per hour you will chew up data quickly SD film 1GB + HD more. So for the odd program on 4G, maybe - but would guess that your data on your mobile phone contract won;'t be that much - so unless you can buy a lot of data cheaply or get an UNLIMITED 4g contract, on pay as you go for your travels (not sure if that is possible). Leaving the satellite dish option - but a 1.1 won't cover signal in all locations for the likes of BBC (spot beam).
If not live TV - just want things to watch, you can always join Netflix for a month, download series & films onto a tablet or laptop (before you travel) and then you have content to watch. You can also download content when stopping, just make sure you go to cafe with Wi Fi for top up on content!
