Iam looking for a Satellite Receiver (as back up to IPTV) to fit in between TV & wall .HD and be able to receive all UK channels ,(free) Inc BBC 1 (East Midlands).Not sure if it's Free to air ,Free sat,ect
Any recommendations for new or second hand .

Leroy Merlin have a section covering a range of boxes and satellite parts, more than enough to make several variations of complete systems, may be try them

If you go for a genuine Freesat branded box then when you set it up it asks for your postcode. Pop in a Nottingham postcode and it will give you BBC and ITV East Midlands programmes by default. This can me MUCH easier than trying to find the relevant regional programs and set them as your default BBC/ITV channels on the cheap Chinese sat boxes that are kicking around.
You also get a much better program guide on a Freesat box than on the Chinese ones.

Freesat boxes aren’t sold outside the UK, but you can often pick them up second hand in Spain, or on eBay.

I’ve found that Lumsdens usually have a box or two up for auction most weeks and you can pick them up very cheaply and are simply plug and play
