Hi Paul we have just moved to La Fiesta & could not find anywhere that supplied in that area but we were with Telfy in Dona Pepa & they have been excellent & have supplied us with Wimax with either 10/20/or 30 G we run our tv & computer & pads off of 20 megs & download HD quality films without any problem & i would recomend them the service was excellent.

Cheers Doug.

Thanks for the reply.
I have used Telfy before with no problems but was hoping to get fibre.
I found one company when I was last there that said they were coming into the area but clearly that has not happened.
I shall go back to Telfy. Many thanks for your help.
Regards Paul

I wanted to avoid an 18 month contract with an inferior service but it looks like I can't avoid it!

Whilst waiting for fibre to arrive, you could look at using Eurona, as I do. It costs €28 /month with no minimum contract. Installation is also free as it's only a case of plugging in a router. They give you 5 days free trial to make sure you are satisfied before joining up.

They advertise the service as using 4G but some have questioned whether or not it is actually 4G. Regardless, it's been pretty reliable for me. The service is "up to" 30mb/sec- but in my case it's more like 10-20mb/sec

Hi, that looks like a good short term solution. I did bring over a 4g payg modem from the Uk but it didn't really work, however with a 5 day trial it seems very much worth a try. Thanks very much.

What Tom posted does sound good.
5 Day Free Trial to see if you can get a decent signal and a 60 euro deposit for the box.

(BTW what I posted about Oct & Dec wasn't a joke that is actually what I was told !)

Oh totally get it. I popped into the supplier next to the Gamma Supermarket and they told me 1 month and that was back in August! Thanks for all the help, I'm back mid February so I will get onto it then.
