I want to setup a TV in my outside bar for sport. I can pick up WiFi on my phone there, will the firestick run outside?

The Firestick will work as long as there is power and an internet connection including a mobile phone

I have power out there, was just wondering if the stick would pickup the WiFi from inside of villa.
Thanks

Surely the normal data allowance on a mobile phone account would be inadequate to watch tv and the download speed would be too slow
Then again, you’re an expert so I guess you’ll say I’m wrong ?

Jill and Steve Data allowances are of course low on some contracts but you can buy extra data my phone contract has 100 gb extendable and download speeds om mobile phone in some case are faster than home internet I can only get speeds up to 20 gb max in my home but the download speed on my mobiles is more than twice that
Also if you can get a signal outside from your wifi then all you need to do is install a router as an extender outside in the place you need to watch tv

Do not buy a fire stick.Buy a xiaomi tv stick that is with Android tv.You can use all Android apps.
Use your phone as hotspot and use XENET than you have 140 GB for 20 €.
TV use 1 GB for a hour.
We use that combination in our camping car.
You use a tv with HDMI and a USB or a powerbank for the USB.

Now that’s good information, the OP wouldn’t have known that

[quotNhad e="Jillandsteve"]What about an adjustable sat dish on the caravan ?[/quote]

I had a 80 cm automatic sat dish on my previous motorhome , complete waste of time and money for reception, we are too far south.
