WiFi upstairs

The WiFi signal upstairs at our house is very spotty. We have installed an extender but my wifes iPad keeps losing connection. Is it possible to install another router connected to the original one to improve the signal quality?

TIA

Have a look at these. I have them on each floor of the house and they work perfectly. One needs to be plugged into the router and then the others link to it.

You could ask your broadband provider... Telfy do WiFi premium - they will assess your house for full coverage and install additional extender routers where needed. Obviously costs a bit more, but not that much - c. 5 euros a month on top of your current contract with them.. could be worth trying if your own current extenders don't work well.

I have installed a Nova mesh system. I am very pleased with the results. Very easy to set up.
