LebarSIM card.

I have been using a Lebar prepaid SIM card, for along time with no problems. A week ago my phone started to show that I am now using yoigo. Since then I can’t see my balance. When I try to top up my account using my bank card( the way I have always done) it is not recognised or excepted. Has this happened to anyone else. If so any help in sorting this out would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Lebara for 6 years. In UK just now and last week no network connection. After trying lots of things myself I emailed Lebara."[email protected]"
I use laptop in order to translate their reply. My line is still active. Seems when I upgraded sim card last year, the upgrade was not completed and l have to get another. I will pursue this when next in Quesada. Good luck.

I've also been having problems with Lebara ES over the past year. About 6 months ago it stopped recognizing my logon on the website but the app was ok. Now the app is asking me to verify my phone number - when I try to do this it says it's not a Lebara number! Lebara UK doesn't have these problems.

I now want to change supplier. Is Lobster any good?

Yes a lebara sim has been causing us similar problems this week , including that the lebara app can't be accessed and if you try to set it up again from scratch it says it isn't a lebara number.
However it IS a lebara number and it was possible to use the simple top up online facility to do so (here: https://mobile.lebara.com/es/en/recargar-saldo ) . I tried this with a small 5 euro amount and it worked.

On checking the bank card details ( a prepaid card I keep for occasions such as these!) I saw that the amount had been charged not by lebara but by Xfera mobiles. A bit more google digging and it looks that Xfera mobiles seems to own/have bought over a whole range of mobile brands including lebara and Yoigo - which may be where the Yoigo came into it for you.

However whatever clever things Lebara ( or Xfera) think they are doing, it's backfiring. I , for one, will be switching networks to someone more reliable who doesn't mess customers around like this...
