You can set a Firestick to Parental control which will need a Pin number to release then guests can not delete apps and programs, also put a clause in the rental conditions that if they interfere with the settings of the tv box there will be a penalty charge .

True I misread "aerial" as "dish". Easy mistake to make! Obviously if it is a Spanish aerial this will not provide UK TV. In this case plug in the coaxial cable to the TV, tune it in, and you will see all the channels you can receive. Some older TVs might need a freeview box to do this.

A community TV system will probably have a Freesat box built in. Ours is in the community Comms room then owners who subscribe to our system only need to tune their TV in. When built, 20 odd yrs ago every apartment was wired for Spanish TV which I'm told was required by law.the Comms room is a little building housing telecoms etc and has the big TV sat dishes on the roof.your president will know if you have a dedicated Comms room

For those using Firesticks for IPTV - they are not great.

People sell them as they are a ´known name´- and they are fine for any apps which Amazon allows - Netflix, Prime, Youtube etc. These ´resellers´- are usually clueless illegal workers flogging crap services, they´ve found off the internet who have zero control over.

As soon as you ´step outside´ of Amazons own eco-system and start adding in 3rd party apps on a hacked firestick, with second-rate services, you see just how piecemeal and fragmented this equipment and software is or would do if you saw ´how to do the job properly´.

Any real Telecomms or TV company would NOT offer you a firestick as it´s woefully poor compared to the specialist set-top boxes available - both in software and performance.

The benefits of using something designed properly to do the job in hand, rather than a hacked Firestick, is a much better-integrated level of services altogether, rather than a myriad of not-very-well-supported apps. They are much faster in general use & work far more like (example) a UK Sky box with all aspects of services integrated properly. Additionally, no-name resellers are literally re-selling a product or service, they´ve found on the internet, which more than often leads to poor support, no track record etc.

As you can see, I am not impressed with the Firesticks - the bodgers way & more than often people approach us with Firestick issues, which are usually resolved by removing the Firestick and a second-rate resellers service.

Having tried a firestick in the past and now back to an Android box I couldn't agree more, and would add often firestick needs constant updates
