Apple definitely has equivalents, excellant ones, and you can also use all the Microsoft office suite on an iMac and, indeed, an iPad. Microsoft glady make Apple compatible versions as it provides them with more sales.
Microsoft aided Steve Jobs in the early days and bill gates is a great admirer of Steve a Jobs even when Steve Jobs called Microsoft a few derogatory names

Ho dear talking about Abble I droped mine last night
and smashed the screen and the button on the front middle now gone but can stil get onto i pad but cant move around to go to other apts have to turn it on and of all the time, have to call my Insurance on Monday see if its covered?

nope not covered,, damn it. anyone know if anyone can repair an apple screen
it still works but needs screen and the button is missing.

thanks guys. it is working can get everything on the pad but have to switch it of every time I need to go onto another apt.
