It is beter to get the builders to do it, it is not expensive it is all down to the size of the project the builders should know exactly what to do or don't use them would be my advice.

Try Don Aluminio they got our permissions. link to recommendations for them below.

Just a note on the above also.....................

If you are on a community you may also require permission from them also

It would depend on if - like mine - permission is in place for a max 1.8m high boundary.

Just had 80m of high walling and gates put in by Barcelo's (high street Quesada). They have done a stunning job and managed everything including access to neighbours property. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and we can't recommend them enough.

OMG! 80 metres of high walling? Are you a danger to low flying aircraft?

If you get your builders to organise the permissions then you should ensure that you check all of the paperwork before any work begins. Get good quality copies of all the paperwork and ensure you keep it safe, as it will be useful when you come to sell your property.
As previously stated, if you live on an urbanisation then you'll also need to get the written approval of the president and/or management company. For our urbanisation there is a 30 day consultation process for changes. When you come to sell, if you don't have appropriate documentation approving the changes then the buyers solicitor may withhold a percentage of the purchase price until changes are retrospectively approved at the next AGM of the urbanisation.

Pete.
