Flint moved it later to pastures new I,m afraid ...!!!! The beaches opposite Elche come under the jurisdiction of the city of Elche therefore " Elche beaches , agreed there is not much of a forshore and very little bikiniclad crumpet in the town center lol ......!!!!!!!

Playa Lisa beach was uncrowded? You must have got there pretty early to even find a parking space. I've been several times and have had to drive straight out again as there was nowhere to park and the beach looked as crowded as Benidorm.
Even went to La Marina beaches today (after failing to get anywhere near Playa Lisa again) but nowhere to park as they have put parking restrictions up all through the town for some reason.
Ah, well, no big waves in the swimming pool.

We drove round twice and on the second time parked
Right by the beach :) we got there around lunch time.

It became busier around 5pm for some reason

But we seriously had a lovely day and a very uncrowned beach

Hope you have better luck next time.

Lesley.

We always got to the Beach by 9.30 as the Spanish don't venture out that early.
