The president on my last community had a large reduction in his community charge. As far as I know this is usual practice.

Yes, that's what I thought. Let's face it, they don't do it for nothing, so they must face up to their responsibilities as far as I'm concerned. You're lucky that you don't live on a community to be honest.

Have to laugh at this after the night we have just had...they moved in yesterday they got drunk and took drugs and then it started. They have trashed a beautiful villa. We have had the police and it turns out that she has been beaten so she is in hospital and he is in prison...
we are scared out of our wits and we are praying not just hoping that the agent can get them out.
It is not the presidents job to call the police, it is those that are disturbed.

The president can have an allowance if the community permit it, ours does but his job description does not involve policing the community.

If you have a problem with your neighbour it is YOUR responsibility to confront them not your President, and as most Presidents do not receive a allowance i think was not very nice.

You know what....no-one has actually said for the president to confront them. All that has been said is for the president to maybe contact the OWNER of the property. Surely, if he wants to be president of a community then he should take SOME responsibility.

A lot of Presidentes definitely do not get paid. The President and the Vice Presents should get to together and decide on a plan of action to deal with troublemakers.
