La Marquesa Parade of Shops

Only local Bar talk I know but the rumour going round is that the Parade of Bars and restaurants that are alongside La Marquesa golf course...Indian...Chipshop etc are to be bulldozed to make way for a Hotel to service the golf course.

The chip shop is up for sale. Don't think it could be sold with a demolition order over it.

Why would they, when the Corazon Hotel at the top is such a failure? Probably just bar talk.

Some units are rented from Sharehold, the golf course owning company (Quesada family) and they have givennotice to their tenants to vacate within 3 months. The reason given is that they are going to renovate the units, adding a second floor. No mention of a hotel, although I know that has long been an ambition of the owners.

The quickest way to find out is to go to the Architect's office at Rojales Town Hall and ask.
