Hello everybody,
I am looking to buy a "newish" car - 2015 onwards. I would like a MERCEDES, BMW, or a TOYOTA Auris hybrid or possibly a VW Golf.

MUST BE AUTOMATIC.

Would consider Right Hand Drive.

Please call Paddy, at Palm Farm.
My tel. no. is with my advert on the left of this forum, but here it is again: 600 810 844

Cheers,
Paddy the Palm.

Thank you for your rapid reply, Julie and Gary.
If Gary has anything that fits the bill, perhaps he could give me a call?
Best Wishes, Paddy the Palm 600 810 844

Thank you, Passion (great name!)
I know the locations of the car dealers, as I travel all over the Costa Blanca for my tree felling and gardening re-designing work. I was hoping to find a forum reader, who might be returning to the UK, or updating his AUTOMATIC car, but I do appreciate your suggestion.
Cheers, Paddy the Palm.

I have an EcoSport in the UK, just over a year old and automatic. I abso, ute,y love it BUT we have just bought a villa in Spain and will shortly be moving there to live so I thought I’d have to sell it and buy a left hand drive. Is it ok to,drive a right-hand drive in Spain?

What do other people do?

You can drive a RHD for upto 6 months on UK plates before needing to re-register onto Spanish plates. However, if you’re moving over to Spain you may be able to avoid paying import tax if you do the regegistration within one month of registering on the Padron.
Contact Graham at http://spanish-number-plates.com/ for advice and a quote.
