Cooking apples

Hi. Does anyone know if you can get cooking apples here.

Yes. All supermarkets have Granny Smiths and others. So do the markets.

Thank you marcliff. Unfortunately Granny Smiths or similar don’t work in this cake. It needs to be proper cooking apples like Bramleys. I did bring back Bramleys when we went to Ireland recently but I have used them.

I think you'll need to find a British Type Greengrocers to get Bradley's unless Iceland do them. There used to a Greengrocers parked outside Reeves Butchers in San Luis who had them but don't know if he is still there.
Apple pies aren't the same with other type Apples.

Yes, you can get Bradley’s. Super value and Iceland do them

The greengrocer stall outside Reeves Butchers in St Luis. He usually has them.

His fresh deliveries arrive on a Monday, when he’s closed so Tuesday is the best day to visit. Get your skates on and you could be his first customer tomorrow.

You can get Bramleys frozen in Iceland
