Interesting. Assuming that "most" on here are from the UK man bags seem quite popular(or of course there are no replies from those that don't use them) However, I hardly ever see them in Studz or any of the Brit bars and certainly no one takes their Manbag down to watch the footy.

Yep I allways looked at man bags as feminine and thought I would never use one but now as we seem to carry more items some medicines, impossible to put all this stuff on your pockets but alas like some good people on here, not to good at rememering what I i did with my spanking new bag at times lol. Good job the wife looks after me. :D

We frequent footie bars and the man bags are used occasionally there as anywhere else. I think those who are anti are thinking they are feminine but really they are just like carrying a camera bag years ago. Most people now don't use cameras but the bags were similar and men used to carry them. I've seen them carried across the body by men and they needn't be taken off while in a bar or whatever, so not so easy to snatch.

Depending on the trousers or shorts that men wear, the pockets are often quite inadequate for carrying phones and wallets. The only trousers I've seen that are good are the travel trousers and shorts that have multi pockets and have zips on the pockets and especially front pockets for valuables - Mountain warehouse in UK and online is good for these. I always get my husbands trousers and shorts from there.

As a previous member has said the man bags can be used to carry other things as well as a wallet. I also notice them at markets and it's much more sensible than putting money or wallet in a pocket while walking around as long as the bag is kept in front of the body. I believe more ladies should be as careful to carry cross body bags and not put bags on tables, backs of chairs or floors (cockroaches love bags on floors ..ughh LOL) - Still see many doing this!
