I've viewed on Facebook the beach is the place to be on Christmas Day. Which beach is the best and is there any entertainment on the day? Thanks.

La Zenia beach. Dress up (Santa, elf, reindeer etc), take barbecue, wine, seats, tables, Christmas tree etc, and sing along to the band playing Christmas carols.

I've read on posts on Facebook that there is also a gathering at Guardamar beach - if you didn't want to go that far - think I might venture out to Guardamar

La Xenia gets absolutely mobbed, if you are not there before 10 there will be nowhere to park. There is not any entertainment at guardamar but people dress up and gather on the beach ( we meet friends and take cava and croissants ), several restaurants are open.
