It really is down to luck with KK.I have had 7 dogs over a 14 year period. Never had KK vacs they were in kennels a couple of times a year. Only one incident of KK he was still under 8 mths so didn't have a robust immune system. Human cough medicine for a week and he was fine.

It's no different when your wife/husband has a cold and you don't end up with it.

KK vaccines arnt going to harm your dog it can be risky for certain breeds though. It's just one of the biggest veterinary myths out there.
As someone who treats human's for a living its like me charging you 30€ for a vaccine to stop you getting a cold.

If I did I would be struck off and lose my license. I would have made an absolute fortune though

It is a requirement in all good kennels to prove that dogs are vaccinated, would not like to know that my dogs are in a place where unvaccinated dogs have been...bear in mind exercise areas which can be communal. My kennel will not take dogs without proof
