Day and night roller blind

i want to buy a day and night roller blind and did get a price from a man who was displaying them at the market. The price he quoted was far more than I would have expected and I plan to order one from the U.K but my husband suggested that I should ask if anyone else has bought one of these to use on a standard patio window and if so, how much did it cost and who supplied it.
For those of you who are wondering what a day and night blind looks like, the blind looks as if it is stripped..one panel see through and the next one in a solid colour. When you adjust the the blind, you move the fabric so that you cover the sheer panel making it completely private or you can have the blind open and you can see out through it....google it, my explanation is awful.

Thanks for the suggestion. I went online and looked at their blinds but they do not seem to have any day and night type. Have you seen them in Leroy Merlin or just ordinary roller blinds?

Hi I know they have quite a good range but to be honest I’ve never seen day and night blinds , if you can’t find them you could consider having them fetched by silverdale I have had furniture, mirrors and loads of items fetched by Kevin , very reasonable and trustworthy, I also know a very good handyman that could fit the blinds for you he fitted ours from Leroy

Best Regards

No idea but our glass is tinted and has a large awning above for extreme sunshine.
I would never have the blind 8Down other than when inside at night watching television. I cannot imagine any type of blind rotting in the sun. We have had a louvred blind in the dining room for years and it is still the same colour with no fading or sun damage. These day and night blinds are a brilliant idea.

I went to the above shop yesterday and saw the blinds. They were reduced in price and on sale for €52 which is a sixth of the price I was quoted. However, I cannot say that the quality is the same but still, this is some price for a blind which will fit a patio window. The size I planned to buy was 180cms in width but their was slightly smaller at 160cms. I will check that the size will fit and go and buy it later on. Thankfully, my husband is pretty good at fitting things so do not need a handy man for this job.
Thanks for all the help.
