Rojales - Arts and Crafts weekend with activities & music
Posted: Fri May 02, 2014 4:48 pmIn the caves at Rojales (Cuevas del Rodeo) there is an Arts and Crafts weekend with activities & music on Friday 2nd May to Sunday 4th May 2014. Looks like an interesting few days:
Starts at 7pm on Friday 2nd May in Mengolero's cave, with an art exhibition by a local artist. Then various workshops with the art and handicraft on display in 15 different caves. Also at 8.30pm a recreated Iberian settlement, dramatised in traditional Iberian costumes on the Rodeo caves square.
Finally at 10pm a band will be in concert on the Replaceta del Teatro.
On Saturday the 3rd May there are lots more activities and displays in the Cave Workshops all day starting from 10.30am. There will be a patchwork exhibition in the picnic area.
Various other activities throughout the day and a Puppet show for children in the Replaceta del Teatro from 8pm to 9pm
At 9.30pm a band will again be in concert on the Replaceta del Teatro
Sunday 4th May more art exhibitions in the caves from 10.30am and a similar day to above with a Gynkhana and activities for children from 11am to 1pm on the Rodeo caves square.
Lots more going on throughout the day until finishing at 8.30pm
