There is a notice in the Aldi supermarket in Benimar saying that they will be closing down on June 2nd.
The new store in Quesada (adjacent to the JYSK furniture store, ex Lidl) will open on June 4th

sadly not surprised, it wasn't a very good shop. I think Consum does better as there is more in there.

1.5ltr fresh milk in aldi €1.19.........1.5ltr fresh milk in consum €1.65,

Every time I looked in Aldi I couldn't see any fresh milk, only UHT. However, €1.16 for 2 x 0.75l in Lidl.
The problem with the current Aldi is that it's too small. Even the Chinese next door has more space.
It'll save going all the way up to Rojales to get sour cream, though.

Well i for one will miss it nice and handy and never crowded
Have sold fresh semi milk for ages and just started to do fresh whole milk
Cant see me going down to the new one so mas y mas it will be for me, not a fan of consum find them very expensive

Yes, I know. And Iceland.
Gama is just over 2 euro a carton.
Iceland is about 1.40
Aldi is 67 cents.
