The little building between Jysk and Preyser is an Aldi petrol station

I am referring to the large area directly behind Aldi, about the same size as the Aldi site. Footings are presently being dug out there.

A local estate agent told a friend who is thinking of buying that it's going to be a Burger King. I find that hard to believe myself but stranger things have happened.

At the risk of sounding awfully snobbish, which I assure you I am not, a Burger King will just lower the tone of the whole area. I hate seeing MacDonald's or Starbucks large signs when driving to Torrevieja or along the N-332, they just look so un-Spanish and out of place. Why not build a place like JR's Country Club with a bar, restaurant and pool, that would be so much more appealing. Sigh

I know a few Spanish and they love burger king! Lol but a place like JRs would have been nice.
