Looking for some information on renting out my property. I understand that you have to have a tourist licence. But how do I go about arranging to pay the tax on the income I get.

Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

I use SpanishTaxForms. If you fill in your details on their website they get back to you really quickly. They will prepare the forms for you for £29.95 and then either send them to you in the form of an email for you to take to the bank to pay or for £12 per person they will pay it for you.

The forms need to be submitted by the 20th of the month following each quarter, i.e. you submit your income received, less cost per day x number of days rented, less any maintenance expenses for Q1 which is Jan/Feb/Mar and that needs to be paid by 20th April. Then the same for each of Q2, Q3 and Q4. You dont need to submit a return if you havent rented out during a particular quarter. SpanishTaxForms will sort that all out for you.

I have found them to be quick to reply, professional and the cheapest around.

Thank you that’s very helpful. I think they also complete your non residency tax as well don’t they.
