Apparently La Mata beach has reopened, but there have since been sightings again of the jellyfish, the flying red flags are probably the best guide.

If the beach is closed because of them the flag is RED the flag with the fish is a beware flag that includes when walking down the beach the UK is also having problems as they have had in the past! just be aware no panic really.

If the Spanish see a Jelly Fish on the beach they put them in the rubbish bins so it's a good idea if you see any and have something to pick them up.

We've been on Guardamar beach today and all was ok, no flags flying.
