Post box Key

Posted: Thu Jun 07, 2018 11:06 amThe easiest way is to simply drill the centre of the lock out...go to a Chinese shop and buy a new postbox lock with new keys...one of your DIY neighbours will do it for you.

The tricky bit is often getting the the correct shaped piece that goes on the back of the lock and which engages with the frame of the mailbox to lock the door. The best option is to keep the original one and fit it to the new lock barrel if possible.
