My husband, myself and a friend decided to try this new restaurant tonight and we were NOT DISAPPOINTED. Having grown up in Leicester where there are a million different types of Indian cuisine to sample, I expect a certain standard when I go for a meal. This new restaurant DID NOT disappoint. The food was excellent, a much higher standard than the Punjabi palace which I found a complete waste of money. The service at the new restaurant is second to none, the waiters were charming and amusing and were attentive without being pushy. AND THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR. The prices were reasonable for the food and the drinks. You have to try it, I am sure you won't be disappointed. Oh one last thing, their onion bhaji is delicious.

Can't remember the name but it is the other end of the row of shops that the Punjabi Palace is on. It is facing the car park Supavalu end. Just opened . Hope they do well as none of the previous owners lasted long.

I think it's called Sabores, I was in there earlier in the week with my family, we had a variety of meals. The general consensus was that it was OK but no more than that. Most of my visitors enjoy the Punjabi Palace very much. Each to his own.

Saboras has been open quite a while now and never tried but have heard good reports.
Been in punjab palace many a time always been great.

There is a new one opened facing the car park, it was a Jordanian restaurant before & numerous others before that (too many names to remember) it's only a small place & i can't remember the new name. It looks to have a similar menu to Sabores.

It’s called Eat Fresh and I can endorse the OPs comments. It’s excellent and the staff are delightful and so keen to please.

its next to the hairdressers facing the car park at the back, its not Sabores that is on corner.

Q. You do not trash your competition! Just because your pal owns a place doesn't mean you have to give them a big and biased review! Slagging off Punjabi Palace is crap just like you are talking!
