Hi all,

we have just moved to Quesada after traveling around Europe with our campervan for half a year.

We have a small gas Dutch gas bottle that we use for cooking. Now after a few months of use it has run out and we are looking to fill the gas bottle.

I know it's not common in Spain to do it but I thought just to give it a try :-) We have looked at all other options (Spanish bottles etc) but they won't fit in our van and we have problems with connecting the kitchen with Spanish bottles (different tube diameter). In the attachment, you find a picture of how the bottle is situated in the van.

If anyone knows anyone, that would be amazing.

Thanks,
Sabrina

Get an adaptor [ several different types available ] from a caravan dealer and fill at a petrol station that sells LPG .

Thanks, but that's too dangerous for me. Today still, a guy in the Netherlands was doing this and he let his bottle explode AT the gas station. His van is burned down and the whole area is now being evacuated

You need to find a MotorHome/Caravan Dealer as I'm sure they must have come across this before. There are different Nationalities everywhere with MotorHomes especially during the Winter Months.

You have possibly 3 options 1 find a caravan dealers who might know the answer 2 alter the cupboard to accommodate new bottle and get somebody to alter pipe 3 take it yo Repsol or cepsa main yard see if they will fill it for you or have you researched those bottle sizes must do them somewhere surely
