We recently visited Los Montesinos and really liked the place, loved the square near the church. Does anyone on this forum live there? If so, what are your experiences (good and bad). We had a drive up to La Herrada but felt it was a bit secluded with hardly any amenities. I know people have different opinions but we're just curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

I live in La Herrada, been here 13 years and me and the wife love it. we have Dial Prix supermarket, PC shop and a couple of bars. There are lots of bars, restaurants in the village to suit everyone. If you like quiet then La Herrada is fine.

Hi my friend used to live there,her parents still do,sadly she could,not drive so ended moving out to where her job is ,her ambition is to drive to go back there absolutely loves the place,her parents are now in 14-15 years there are in the process of upgrading houses

I live in La Siesta but a friend of mine lives in Los Montesinos overlooking the square, he had recently installed tnr glass curtains to enclose his first floor porch to enjoy the view of the square, he is very happy .

Sorry but more people leaving than moving there, look at the amount of properties in estate agents windows, we used to live there, main complaint from folks is dogs not on leads and dog poo, if you dont mind that its a great place to live.

Is that in Los Montesinos itself or La Herrada?
