Boric acid powder (SOLVED)

Does anyone know where I can purchase Boric acid powder, tried, Le Roy Merlin, Ferreteria, Garden Centre. Halland and Barratt. please any ideas.

The chemist does sell it but in smaller quantities, I got my last lot from the States, a big container full for about 6 quid, it's not that expensive in the chemist, depends what you want it for, I got mine for cockroaches. The only other place which may sell it in larger quanties is in San Miguel just up and opposite the Ford garage

The chemist at Lo Malibu will order it for you. Very inexpensive.

I thought boric acid and borax had been banned in the EU and UK.
I know there's a boric acid substitute you can buy from pharmacies (sodium sesquicarbonate) but actual boric acid is no longer available.

I don't know whether it is banned now, but I did buy a small tub from the Farmacia opposite the Banana Tree about 2 years ago to use as an ant killer. I mix 1 part with 2 parts water and 5 parts sugar. Works like Nippon liquid - just leave them to enjoy it.
