Posted: Sat Jul 21, 2018 2:21 pmThe chemist does sell it but in smaller quantities, I got my last lot from the States, a big container full for about 6 quid, it's not that expensive in the chemist, depends what you want it for, I got mine for cockroaches. The only other place which may sell it in larger quanties is in San Miguel just up and opposite the Ford garage

I know there's a boric acid substitute you can buy from pharmacies (sodium sesquicarbonate) but actual boric acid is no longer available.

Posted: Sun Jul 22, 2018 10:11 amI don't know whether it is banned now, but I did buy a small tub from the Farmacia opposite the Banana Tree about 2 years ago to use as an ant killer. I mix 1 part with 2 parts water and 5 parts sugar. Works like Nippon liquid - just leave them to enjoy it.
