I cant find this place on Google maps

Casa Concejo

CAZORLA JAÉN CALLE QUESADA CP 23470, Quesada, Province of Jaen, Andalucia 23470

Weve booked it for a month while we buy a house. Ive deduced its near Jaen, in a town called Cazorla, which confusingly is near another town called Quesada, but not the one near Torrevieja. (They must be like Neustadts in Germany - theres millions of them)

But what baffles me is the map of where it is is nowhere near a road clled 'Calle Quesada" - or am I reading the address wrong? and whats the 'CP' stand for ?

Anyone have a clue where it is or how to find it on maps ? The fact that the address starts with Cazorla (a town) and finishes with Quesada (another town) doesnt help. Spanish address protocol really is rubbish.

If it's Andalucia it's not near Alicante. Were you trying to book somewhere near the Ciudad Quesada of this forum which is near Torrevieja and Alicante?

I had the same trouble when out of work. Apparently there were 550 engineering jobs in jeopardy but I couldn’t find that on google maps. :text-lol: :text-lol: :text-lol:

If you click on the name of the villa in your post, it takes you to trip advisor and there is a map further down the page on the right hand side. If you click on the map it takes you to a map and you can zoom out and in to see where it is.

I hope you are not looking to buy property in Ciudada Quesada and using this as a base, you will incur a lot of driving

Cp is codigo postal which is spanish for postcode
Therefore the town postcode is 23470

This will cover the whole of the town its not like uk where postcodes only cover small areas

1. no its just a base to see that part of spain
2. yes we buying a house in Torrevieja, but thats by the way
3.OK to recap: the tripadviser map has a dot that is in in Cazorla, but as I explained, theres no Calle Quesada in that town.. Ther IS a Calle Quesada in the Quesada to the south of Cazorla, but there is no building that looks like the one in the Tripadviser pictures.

THIS is the Trip adviser map:

yet even google maps doesnt show a Calle Quesada. It doesnt make sense.

The Tripadviser map definitely points to Cazorla, but nnone of the roads round the map pin are called Calle Quesada

ive looked round, there is no building that looks like the tripadviser image

finding places in Spain is a nightmare....

Seems strange as on trip advisor it says 3 new apartments and there’s a review from 2007?!
I was thinking if they’re new maybe the Rd hasn’t been named yet? I would ask the owner for directions.

ah yes, good point.

Does it really take 10 years to get a road named in Spain.?

Ignore that, stupid question.
