Posted: Fri Aug 17, 2018 2:40 pmI drive a Citroen and use the Citroen garage just down the road from the ITV centre. They are surprisingly cheap, and offer a great quality of service. They do all makes/models of vehicles and will rent you a courtesy car for €10 per day if needed.
Now that the ITV centres offer online bookings, it’s not always guaranteed that you’ll get an ITV done the same day if you turn up and join the queue. This means that any garage that has your car in for a pre ITV check won’t necessarily be able to get it tested the same day, especially if it needs a few things doing to get it ready for the test. So, you may find that you take the car in one day and they then send it up to the test centre first thing the following day, to be at the front of the queue.
