this isssue has be seen many times but just on buying a car what is the cheapest to run in spain which car is a serious expense to run
Cost to service
Cost of parts

Cheapest to maintain. Tyres and so on.

And is the premier cars. Such has BMW and mercs. Expensive.

Like in the uk Ford’s are relatively cheap and parts easy to get and probably cheaper

Thanks.

Have a look on the Spanish website Milanuncios for a car which will have ITV and Spanish documents. When you see a car you fancy then Google it for running costs.
What could be simpler?

Hi,
Our experience of 2nd hand cars in Spain is they are very expensive, especially from dealers, the warranties they usually give eg all problems for one month then engine & gearbox for next 11 months, first month ok then every problem you get is not usually covered under warranty in our experience. We would never buy another from a dealer.Depending on your budget you may as well spend a bit more & get a new one. If you are not a car snob you can pick a new Dacia Sandero up for just over 8000 euro with 3yrs. manufactures warranty & no ITV for 4 yrs. of course dending on budget & if you just want to get from A to B.

We have dealt with VentureFleet cars in Montesinos for several years and they not only deal with car service and repairs, but also can find the correct car that you want to buy if you ask them. Worth trying!
