Has anybody been charged to have ice in their drink? I got 2 cans of fanta and asked for ice, she said 3 euros please, I said Oh is that the summer price? No she said, it's 1.20 for the can and 30 cents for the ice!! I shall not be going back there! It was only 1 large piece, you can buy a bag full for around 60c

It wasn't Quesada, it was by the needle roundabout Torrevieja, the wooden hut just off the roundabout

I've never heard of it before in my life. When I told my Spanish neighbours they said "Yes, it's on the news about bars charging for extras that they never charged for before" A sign of the times.

The bars etc have to buy ice, so you pay for it one way or the other!

Easy to know if they can charter toi for that; ask for the list of prices, if ice is not there they can not charge you.

Complain on the "libro de reclamaciones" and give your copy on the town hall.

Charge for ice? Unbelievable! I certainly would not be going to any bar or restaurant that charged for ice!!
