Does Guardamar still run it's Wednesday daytime market? A friend wants to visit but not being
a fan of markets it's not one I've been to. I've been dragged kicking and screaming along the
night one but believe the day one is somewhere else. TIA.

It's a very big Market and well worth visiting. Very Spanish. Mostly Fruit & Veg one side of the Church and other goods the other side. There are Bars open so you can get a drink. Gets busy so go early.

Guardamar is an excellent & typical Spanish market but please take very good care of your money purses & wallets etc especially in the fruit & veg area which can be very crowded

This is good advice for each and every market. Always try to take only as much money as you think you will need and no handbags if possible. If you do take a bag wear a cross body bag (with the bag in front of your body) but stay very aware of who is around you.

It's surprising how many people still seem complacent around markets and crowded areas plus bars and restaurants (anywhere in the world).
