Posted: Sun Sep 23, 2018 11:39 amHi you can buy a no parking sign from your local town hall ,, you pay per year for it and if people still block your gate you can ring police,, the sign is processed and you collect from town hall ,mine cost 30euro , hope it helps

Posted: Sun Sep 23, 2018 11:41 amDo you have a dropped pavement going to your gate? Do you have a "vado permanente" to allow you to cross the pavement into your property?
You can apply for a vado permanente and put the sign up outside. If anyone parks across it, including you, the policia local will arrange for the car to be removed. You can apply for one at the town hall and the fee depends on the location but is quite reasonable, anything from 30 to 120 euro a year.
If you don't have a vado permanente with a sign and yellow lines painted then there's not a lot you can do as it will be deemed a public road.

Posted: Sun Sep 23, 2018 12:05 pmNo mention here of any blocked access. If this is the case then it's a public road and anyone can park there provided they've paid their road tax.
