has anybody noticed that the old Lidl near Habaneros has been demolished with a big sign saying Closed for Refurbishment
I think something got lost in translation there

Yes, thought that however it was the word ‘refurbishment ‘ which I thought was amusing
It’s not being refurbished it’s being rebuilt
Oh well, sorry, maybe it’s my warped sense of humour, i just thought it funny

It would appear that all the shops on that block, including Yorkshire linen, are being pulled down. The whole site will be cleared and a Mercadona built in place. It would appear that the Mercadona on Torrettas is not big enough so they are building a new one on this site.

So they’re going to build a mercadona next to a huge Lidl ?
