I was following an ambulance along AP7 which was taking my friend to hospital in the middle of the night. I needed to keep up with the ambulance and, afraid I would lose sight of it, I ended up very reluctantly driving over the speed limit. How can I find out if I have a fine?

I got fined this Spring, speeding coming out of Madrid. If you pay it quickly, you only pay 50% of the fine, but if you don't, you have to pay 100%, which was a 100E in my case.
Unfortuantely for me, it was sent to the cars registered address, which was back in the UK, so I didn't know I was caught speeding until one of my daughters checked my home mail back home.

That's why I'd like to know ASAP. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can find out?

Are there any speed cameras on the route you took? If not, I doubt that you’d have been spotted. A police car would have stopped you, I’d have thought.

You make nothing until a letter from the police arrives. If a ticket arrives you have then 2 weeks(they know because you have to sign in front odlf to the postman) to pay for a 50% discount.

There are a couple of sites that you can check if you have a speeding fine. There is busca multas but that searches the database for fines and is not an authorised site. I've not used it but it would probably make a charge or stick loads of adverts on your PC.
The official one is TESTRA (Tablon Edictal de Sanciones de Trafico).

It says you can access it without a digital certificate but it appears a bit hard going.

You don't have to sign in front of the postman, i received two speeding tickets last year & the notifications were delivered to my communal postbox, i only fond them when i went to check for mail. Also, we were given thirty days, not two weeks to pay only half the amount.
