Sorry but where did you get 70 from?

Airport to Quesada by airport taxi with meter should be around 55 or at most 60.

Private taxi booked in advance around 45 or at most 50 depending on the taxi company.

My Daughter came over with some girlfriends a few years ago jumped in a cab at the Airport to Benimar.Driver knew where it was etc. Off they went after 10 mins noticed that the sea was on the right. Told the driver wrong way it's Benimar"no problema" knew where he was going. They got to Benimar Appartments near Benidorm so he then took them all back to Benimar. Cost 60 euros.
An example of trying to impressive the Ladies that went wrong.

Sounds like a bad rumor put about by illegal taxi operators.

I have used the airport taxis many times... it is on the meter so it is usually 50/55 euros..

I think I'll check out Quesada Taxis because of that.

Then check this official site. A taxi from the airport to Benimar is showing as €49 which you can book online. From the rank it`s €50.
